Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the made-in-Ontario climate change plan.
I am very concerned about the harm that gas and diesel powered transportation in Ontario contributes to climate change.
A supportive strategy to transition to electric transportation (EVs) can help ensure that we don’t burden our future generations with the devastating cost and damage of climate change. The lower operating cost of EVs will also help individuals and families save money which will be reinvested in the Ontario economy.
I urge you to please create a plan that helps us overcome barriers to adoption (cost) so that we can quickly transition to electric transportation.

I am very concerned about the harm that gas and diesel powered transportation in Ontario contributes to climate change. I took personal action this year and purchased an all-electric vehicle for my daily work and leisure use.
I feel that a supportive strategy to transition to electric transportation (EVs) can help ensure that we don’t burden our future generations with the devastating cost and damage of climate change. A benefit to EV adoption is that the lower operating cost of EVs will also help individuals and families save money, which I believe will be reinvested in the Ontario economy. Additionally, this market grow of Electric Vehicles will provide thousands of jobs in Ontario, as traditional auto manufactures transition more production to EVs and the reliance on the eco-system of parts and other items needed to support this industry.
On behalf of my family and I, we urge you to please create a plan that helps us overcome a main barrier to adoption (cost), so that we can quickly transition to electric transportation. At some not to distant time in the future, I believe that pricing for EVs will come down to a cost parity point versus ICEVs, thereby eliminating the need for incentives. However, we are not at that point yet.

Time for EV incentives now
We need more electric vehicles, and affordable ones. Stopping the EV subsidy is not only unwise but irresponsible government. Help us get this industry growing.
instead of constant steps backwards, Ontario needs to embrace, with the rest of the country and world, greener options such as electric vehicles but they are too expensive right now to be worth it, incentives are badly needed
