With our third anniversary, we’ve decided to re-brand ourselves as a chapter of Electric Vehicle Society. This gives us a tremendous resource, as well as connections to different chapters across the province.
Stay tuned for more exciting news and updates from EV Society!
Please note that our previous e-mail and web address are considered legacy and will forward to our new resources.
Do plug in hybrid electric vehicles count for becoming a member?
Absolutely!
Enjoyed your article on EV cars that I read on Sootoday. Can you tell me if there is an organized group like yourselves in the Soo? Also, I’ve been corresponding with the federal government about improving multi unit apartments and condos for EV charging infrastructure. These situations are messy and costly to introduce EV charging. Of course I’ve only gotten the run around about how much money the government is investing in improving ev infrastructre.
Is your group able to lobby some of the larger fast charger networks to invest in Sudbury? I have an Ioniq 5 and thankfully the Petrocan EV chargers still work. With Ivy chargers down there are very few options for fast charging in Sudbury. You guys are on the Trans Canada. I understand that the Soo now has Electrify Canada station. Any planned for Sudbury or a Tesla upgrade?
