The adoption of EVs is changing quickly. When Electric Vehicle Society (EV Society) was re-incorporated in 2016 to support the adoption of retail electric vehicles, they were undoubtedly still a niche product. In 2016 only 0.6% of cars sold were electric and both car models and charging infrastructure were limited. In 2021 the picture has changed dramatically. Model selection is wide and the infrastructure is vast. Electric vehicles have become both practical and desirable for a much wider segment of the population.

With this in mind we felt it was the right time to choose a new logo for EV Society as we look to connect with more people. We want our brand to stand out but also feel inclusive. It needs to represent a diverse Canadian community of drivers while being modern and engaging.

With input from our member volunteers, Chapter leaders, and affiliate organisations, we proudly introduce the new EV Society logo! The EV Society Board thanks everyone who was involved in and dedicated their time to the selection process. We hope you like it as much as we do.

It will take some time to fully switch to the new logo throughout our online platforms, marketing material, physical display items, etc., so please bear with us as we make the change. If you see anything that we may have missed, feel free to let us know.
